I overheard someone say that they've been listening to a lot of Al Di Meola and Hank Mobley this morning, and this album cover popped up into my head.
I can't begin to tell you how much I hate this cover. Throughout six or seven cumulative years of working in record stores I always could count on seeing Di Meola's stupid head looking up at me from the "misc. D" section. I have also never heard it before, so I'm probably "really missing out."

i own this record and a few di miolas. some of it rules in a mathmatical miami vice way. but it can also make you feel sick.
that's weird, because i have always thought of you as an elegenat gypsy yourself. you totally could have gon as di miola for halloween! you and eunice could have recreated this cover!
